One of the most frequent questions the librarians of the Miller Center get is, “How do I get funding for my new business?” If your start-up is in an emerging industry or has strong long-term growth potential you might consider venture capital, private equity or another non-traditional investor. But who are these investors and how can you find them?
We are pleased to announce that we have added the United States Venture Capital and Private Equity Database to BIZLINK. This database profiles more than 3,900 firms, including Venture Capitalists, Private Equity firms, Angels, Incubators, Economic Development Groups, Family Investment Offices, and more. The information is searchable by type of firm, industry focus and location. Best of all, results are available to download to an Excel spreadsheet.
United States Venture Capital and Private Equity Database is available to access at the Center. Visit us and check it out!
