
Who can enter?
If you are 18 years of age or older, live in Nassau or Suffolk county, are a legal resident of the United States or a U.S. citizen, and wish to start a business on Long Island, you are eligible. Entrants must be in either the concept or start-up phase of their business.
What is the prize?
Four winners will receive cash awards for entering the best business plan.
First Prize is $5,000
Second Prize is $2,500
Honorable Mention (2 awarded) is $250
Where is the competition held?
Entrants must attend a mandatory orientation session. Orientations will be held at the following locations:
