LIA’s Annual Business Fact Book [pdf]

The New York State Small Business Development Center
Sponsored by the U.S. Small Business Administration and the State of New York, the NYSSBDC offers many resources for small businesses including free, confidential counseling, seminars and information. 
Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE)
This not-for-profit association is dedicated to providing entrepreneurs with free face-to-face or email business counseling. Their website includes advice, a learning center, and many success stories.
The United States Small Business Administration (SBA)
