This year’s Women’s EXPO was once again a huge success thanks to our amazing vendors, volunteers, and staff. Over 2,000 attendees came to MCPL last Thursday…some even arriving well before the official start time, to get a jump on their holiday shopping.
82 vendors, all women-owned businesses with a wide array of products, were busy all day and into the evening. The day was capped off with our huge EXPO Raffle, in which over 50 attendees went home with fabulous prizes.
“My 1st year with Women’s EXPO LI and I must say this EXPO is phenomenal!! I can’t wait for next year. Met up with so many great women/companies and the staff was awesome!! The event was very well organized!” said Tiana Le of Le Petite Baguette, who seemed to have a non-stop stream of visitors at her table.
The Women’s EXPO, presented by the Middle Country Library Foundation, is a showcase and a marketplace for Long Island women entrepreneurs: artisans, importers, designers and distributors of products such as jewelry, clothing, fine art, pottery and wood/metal/leather/glassware, children’s items, culturally diverse crafts, fiber art, specialty food items, gift baskets, household accessories, paper products and more. EXPO proceeds help support the Center. For more information, visit the Women’s EXPO site.
